ProfileHunan New Welllink Advanced Metallic Material Co., Ltd. (stock name "Welllink", code 920634) was founded in November 2002 and specializes in the research, development, manufacture and sale of zinc-based materials such as spherical zinc dust and zinc flake. On 24 November 2022 it listed on the Beijing Stock Exchange, becoming the first zinc dust company on the BSE.
The company runs three production bases: Hunan Welllink New Material Co., Ltd., Sichuan Welllink Advanced Metallic Material Co., Ltd. and Welllink Advanced Metallic Material (Nantong) Co., Ltd. Current annual capacity is 25,500 t in Hunan and 32,000 t in Sichuan, and the Jiangsu base will add 25,000 t when complete — 82,500 t a year in total (including capacity under construction), making Welllink China's largest zinc dust producer by capacity (excluding capacity that industry peers have under construction or planned).
Our spherical zinc dust is widely used in zinc-rich anti-corrosion coatings, sherardizing, the chemical industry, non-ferrous metallurgy, pharmaceuticals and pesticides, diamond tools and friction materials. Our zinc flake serves mainly the automotive, home-appliance, defense and new-energy supply chains as a key raw material for chrome-free zinc-aluminum, Dacromet and zinc-rich anti-corrosion coatings, protecting and finishing steel parts, steel structures and hardware.
Welllink builds strong R&D into every part of production and operation. It holds a series of core technologies and more than 80 national patents, 18 of them invention patents; has helped draft national and industry standards including Zinc-aluminum coatings — Technical specification (GB/T 26110-2025), Metallic coatings — Zinc diffusion coatings on iron and steel — Sherardizing — Technical requirements (GB/T 43884-2024), Diffusion corrosion-resistant coatings on iron and steel parts — Technical specification (pending approval), Zinc-rich primers (HG/T 3668-2020) and Safety code for zinc-aluminum coating operations (T/CSEA 17-2021); and has received more than 100 honors and qualifications, among them national Specialized and Sophisticated "Little Giant" Enterprise, National High-Tech Enterprise, Hunan Manufacturing Single Champion Product (zinc-based materials), Sichuan Specialized and Sophisticated SME, Hunan New Materials Pilot Platform, designated builder of a Hunan Manufacturing Innovation Center, and Provincial Enterprise Technology Center. It is a leading company in zinc-based powder materials, in R&D, market share and brand recognition alike.

R&D
R&DWith provincial and municipal innovation platforms including the Hunan Provincial Enterprise Technology Center, the Hunan New Materials Pilot Platform and a designated Hunan Manufacturing Innovation Center, the company has built up a body of original, in-house core technology and a complete R&D–pilot–production innovation chain.
Facilities
We have developed our own pilot and production equipment for distilled ultrafine spherical zinc dust, atomized near-spherical and irregular zinc powder, and dry- and wet-process zinc flake. High-end precision instruments — ICP spectrometers, laser particle size analyzers, oxygen analyzers, full-spectrum spark direct-reading spectrometers, atomic absorption spectrophotometers, coating colorimeters, salt-spray test chambers, coating thickness gauges and fineness-of-grind gauges — support a quality control system covering the whole process from raw material to finished product.
R&D Team
Our technical team combines sound theory with hands-on experience rarely found in the industry, bringing together high-caliber specialists from several disciplines. The equipment and products it developed in-house for zinc flake and zinc-aluminum alloy flake have broken through foreign technology barriers, reached internationally advanced levels and replaced a share of imports.
